We bought this townhouse in 2003. We spent approximately $75,000 to redo the whole unit. It has new roof, new gutters, new sprinkler system in the private garden with five small citrus trees, repainted inside and out, new ceiling, new electric fixtures, new mirrors, new glass in shower, new kitchen tile counter, new bathroom tile counter, new kitchen appliances (self cleaning over, ice maker, hot water dispenser) new over, new stove top, new dishwasher, new refrigerator with ice maker and water dispenser, new garbage disposal, new windows throughout the unit, new wood shutter throughout the unit, new carpets in the bedrooms, tile though out the rest of the unit, new air conditioning and heating units and new ducts in the attic. We totally ungraded the unit.

There is a back patio with a roof and a side patio that is open but both are within a walled area. The back patio has a wonderful view of the 7th green and the Hemet Hills are off in the distance.

Concerning Calimesa Golf Course: Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Annual fees are available including use of a cart and driving range. Many people come in from the desert area for the golf due to the reasonable fees. You can walk 18 holes for $16 or you can use a cart for $28. With a pass the fees are even better. There is a club house that serves breakfast and lunch.

Calimesa is a great place. It is quiet and the people are friendly. We have lived in three different houses within the same block due to our neighbors being so wonderful and not wanting to leave the area. We moved here in 1979 and have raised our son here. We have many retirees and young couples with children. We have a small community, Oak Glen, about 5 miles into the mountains at about 5,500 feet, where they raise apples and make cider in the fall it is a big “tourist attraction”. We have Mount San Jacinto (around 12,000 feet) and Mount San Gorgonio (around 12,000 feet) with in view of our town.

This is a great location for winter living or all year round. We get approximately 16 inches of rain a year. In the winter and spring usually.
